Accidental
Landlords
Turned On-Purpose
Investors.
Started with $1,000, a VA loan, and a whole lot of faith. Today we own a multi-strategy real estate portfolio and run a nonprofit changing lives in Myanmar.
The First Condo
Bought our first home in Columbus, GA for $100K with a VA loan and just $1,000 in the bank. Pure faith.
The World Calls
My mother-in-law joined United Airlines. We quit our jobs and backpacked the world — renting our condo by the room and becoming accidental landlords.
First Big Win
The condo appreciated $50K. We sold it and rolled the profit into a bigger home — our first truly intentional real estate move.
The Triple Strategy
Ran our home as a PadSplit, long-term rental, AND Airbnb all at once. It then appreciated another $100K.
On Purpose Investors
Cash-out refinanced and launched into intentional flips, STRs, private lending, and a full multi-strategy portfolio.
Mission-Driven & Growing
Building wealth, giving generously, funding an orphanage, school & church in Myanmar. Called and grateful. 🙏
From $1,000 & a Dream
to a Kingdom Portfolio
It started in 2019. My husband and I bought our first condo in Columbus, GA for $100,000 using a VA loan — with $1,000 left in our bank account. No safety net. No roadmap. Just faith, work ethic, and a belief that God had something bigger in mind.
When my mother-in-law started working for United Airlines, we saw an opportunity we couldn't pass up. We quit our jobs and backpacked around the world. To cover the condo, we rented out our two-bedroom unit by the room. We didn't plan to be landlords — it just happened. And we were completely hooked.
A couple of years later, the condo had appreciated $50,000. We sold it and rolled that profit into a bigger home. That home became our laboratory — PadSplit, long-term rental, AND Airbnb all under one roof. Then it appreciated again — this time by $100,000. We cash-out refinanced, and that became the fuel for everything that followed.
Today we are intentional, on-purpose real estate investors. We flip homes with character and love. We host families in short-term rentals with playrooms. We provide dignity through PadSplit. We give investors safe, asset-backed returns. And through every deal, we fund a mission that reaches Myanmar — where we have built an orphanage, a school, and a church.
We are givers. We are grinders. And above all — we are called to serve.
Our Nonprofit — Beyond the Deals
Every investment we make helps fund our nonprofit. We built an orphanage, a school, and a church in Myanmar — giving children a safe home, a quality education, and a hope-filled future. Real estate is our vehicle. Love is our mission.
Our Journey
TRAVEL
My mother-in-law joined United Airlines. We quit our jobs and backpacked the world — renting our condo by the room and becoming accidental landlords.
START
We started buying our first rental properties during COVID.
We were masked up and closing deals from attorney waiting rooms while attorneys sat behind glass in separate offices.
During a time of major uncertainty in the world, we took a step of faith and kept investing.
Every time we saved enough for another down payment, we purchased another property while interest rates were low.
Later, we refinanced our home and used the equity to continue growing our portfolio.
By God’s grace, those properties appreciated and helped create the equity that continues to fund new deals today.
PIVOT
We started investing at a time when buying a long-term rental directly off the MLS was simple and often automatically cash flowed.
As interest rates rose and the market shifted, we were forced to adapt quickly.
Over the years, we pivoted through multiple strategies:
Long-term rentals
Short-term rentals
Mid-term rentals
Fix-and-flips
PadSplits
Every market shift pushed us to learn new strategies and think creatively.
Those experiences taught us how to adapt, solve problems, and use every strategy available to continue growing.
